Well, I do not know about that, but you put enough doubt in my mind for me to go outside and have a look, and no I don't have them on an 03 plate car.... ::) ::) ::)

Xenon's have to have auto adjustment and washers don't they?

The CD I had a few years ago (it was a '99 I think) had them....

No CD came as standard.

It could have had the HIDs factory fitted as option, or just the washers.  Or could have been retro fitted in life (easy)

If you have factory HID's then you have washers, but there are some cars (MV6?) that have washers but ordinary tungsten projector lights.  :(

MV6's are HIDs

its pre 1997/8 Elites that had washers on standard lamps.

No.

If you have HIDs, you (should) have washers (legal requirement for new cars (and thus for retrofits)).

Washers were available as an option for halogens.


Pre 1998 Elites came with washers and halogens.

I seem to remember a facelift model - Something Sport? - with a go-faster-front bumper having washers fitted even though it had standard tungsten lights.  :-/
