The "Ebay experience" is not, I am afraid to say, what it used to be.  But then, what is ? :-?

From how people are generally talking about ebay these days, it would seem that the experience isn't so friendly and as helpful as it used to be.  Or one whereby it's rare to find those that are??.
Anyone on here share the same thoughts as this?.

Well, we have feedback of 8423 at 100%, so must be doing something right.  But, ebay has made it difficult for buyers and sellers by over policing with regulations and not following up with any action or assitance when required.

Goose, I am afraid whether they got the message or not is irrelevant. They have followed ebay /paypal guidelines. If they hadn't and the package had got lost they would have been in the sh1t.

I sell a lot on ebay and small items I don't mind taking the risk (and sometimes do lose out) but larger orders ALWAYS go to the address ebay /paypal give me. Admittedly I give the buyer the choice to accept the situation or cancel the order.

I think I'll take a leaf out of your book H.C. and do that myself, send to registered address.
Put it as part of the description listing, that will only post to registered address, or buyers risk to alternative.  :-[

By sending to registered address,  it cuts down fraud.

If you buy something over the phone, not many companies will send the goods to a different address to the one registered for the credit/bank card.

Imagine if someone hacked into your ebay/paypal account and bought something for £500 say, and the seller on ebay sent it to a different address to your registered paypal address!

A) you would go nuts, when you found out...
B) you wouldnt get the goods either!

But you would know where it went to and could contact the Police re the theft.

I agree, Ebay/Paypal are getting bad with their "don't care " policy. Most large corporations with a monoply are the same, they don't give a damn about customers, just as long as the money keeps rolling in.
