Oh, you mean the car?  There are various tar removers on the markets.  I use Turtle Zip for washing the car, but only coz I got a job lot a few years back.

I use a petrol soaked rag to remove tar then polish thereafter once dry.

I use a bulk buy Traffic Film Remover with pressure washer, spray on wax from same supplier, then Autoglym polish if required.

Works for me and saves the pennies on buying anything special.....   :y

Both Meths and White Spirits seemed useless, so I'll stick a little in a can when I next get some.

Hmm got a few Autoglym products from when I sold the 2.0, but I'll investigate Halfords during the week.

At least my left front wihng is clean & shiney ::)

I use lighter fuel. Brings it off quite easily. Wash and wax afterwards.

Wife's CDX was COVERED in tar spots a few months ago, I had one of those autoglym gift packs in the garage,

Had 'Intensive Tar Remover' in it, had a go spot treating with that, came off fine, realised this was silly and basically used it over the entire car, all came off, car looked cleaner than ever, then gave it a bloody good wash, all fine. Highly reccommended

Turtle Wax Bug Shifter and Tar remover.

Spray on, wait for 1 min, wipe off, includes it's own wax finish.

Shampoo - Turtle Wax Extreme - Auto Express best buy a few years back and still going strong.

And yes they do sell both in Halfords.  ;)
