Cashback website. What's it called?
« on: 28 January 2011, 12:11:19 »

As per the title really chaps.

I've seen mention a few times about some sort of website whereby any purchases you make online rewards you with a nice little kicker, but now I can't seem to find the threads that mention it.

Could any of you chaps refresh my poor memory?

In advance, many thanks.

There are several! Just google 'cashback sites' & take your pick. Some charge nothing for their service, others (Quidco)the first £5 of any cashback you earn in that year. I've just theoretically 'earned' £89 in the past 2 days provided all the merchants pay what they promise  ::) :y

Thanks for the replys chaps  :y

So which one is the best one to use?

Shopping done mainly at Tesco, (as much as I hate them, the reward points can be tripled and used at Goldsmiths. This year will pay for some nice Chopard diamond earings for the wife). All insurance is done through my excellent broker, and breakdown cover is usually with the RAC.

Anything to do with holidays is pointless for us, as the last time I had a holiday was back in 2001. The only time that I go abroad is if it is work related.

Spending on eBay averages about £25 pcm, and Amazon about £10 pcm.

Check them all to see which one has the best deal from your chosen retailer at that particular time :y

I had about £60 ready to withdraw....its hard to know if its worth it, if its 1p in the pound it aint worth it, but assuming all the tiny creditors dont bother, could be more.  :-/

These sites never seem to offer a discount with the people I shop with :( although I did get £30 back from my house insurance with Sainsbury.. not to be sniffed at I suppose.

Trouble is I spend most of my money at places like Scan ..

I think I'd send it in if I had more than about £10/15 available.  :-/
Not that it matters, but I should be collecting about £25 if it wasn't for one company refusing to pay up (£16.50!) and a few that were still pending.

Same here, though I use quidco so little now that by the time the fee is paid, there is sod all left.
