Lottery wins we are different

OK if came to it if one of us won the lottery that one of our purchases would be a garage and 4 post lift.

Most people I know think that is mad and you should pay someone else to work on it.

buy whatever makes you happy. :y

what i dont understand is people who win the lottery and continue to work.

if youre lucky enough to have a job that doubles as your hobby then fair enough but to continue doing your shift in the local supermarket for fear of boredom is just odd. serial killer odd!!!  ;D ;D ;D

I'd certainly be making sure I had space for a lift :y

Admittedly, it would be to tinker and have fun, not for all the maintenance :y :y

Only 1?? I have plans for a large factory unit or aircraft hanger and a rather large collection of ...well a variety really and I would employ my local independent to do most of the heavy work on my fleet, and a detailer to keep them smart....Can you tell I already have plans?.... ;D ;D

I would keep working, possibly with reduced hours, I love my job, despite being crapped upon. >:(  I face challenges daily I would work with the knowledge that 'This is how it will be or stuff it' and I am in a Job where 'stuff it' would become a problem; Mind I do that anyway quite frequently, just hope they do not call my bluff... ::) ::)

Very similar to myself.   ;)

I have a rather large box of oppsits that I use as and when required.

If they don't like my use of oppsits then.....

you know what I mean...  ;)

I would certainly like the 4 post lift............... in a warehouse................................ rail linked in which I would collect and maintain steam along with diesel railway engines......................... a fleet of cars including an Austin 7, A40, RR Silver Ghost, Vauxhall Cresta PA, Humber Supersnipe, Vauxhall Victor, Ford Cortina's Mk1, 2, 3, 4 & 5, Cortina Mk2 1600E, a Mini Cooper, Ford Escort Mk1 2000RS, a Spitfire and antique dolls houses!! :D :D :D :D ;) ;) ;) ;)

That's my dream along with a five bedroomed detached house, fully interior designed, with covered pool!

Oh.............then there would be the ocean going yacht!!! ::) ::) ::) ::)

Now, just need £30 million!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)

I'd do the same, although I'd get a 2-post rather than a drive-on ramp.. unless you can get 4-post that aren't drive on ramps (I haven't really looked).

In fact.. the plan is to get my current (single) extended into a double with pitched roof and 2-post lift by summer..

Yep... By sinking them into a hole :y :y

The 4 post MOT ramp in the garage I worked for was like it ;)

Ah I meant that aren't drive on .. erm.. I've no idea how to describe it ;D Rather - a lift where the wheels are left to dangle as opposed to one where you lift the car with the wheels. :)

(I know some 4-post drive-on have jacking beams to lift the car off the ramp, though)
