No i hadn't, i'm hoping its not the cambelt.

It had all been thoroughly checked over by Chris and Kevin prior to the rebuild.

I've got to take the new water pump out as the bolts have sheared off and sort that first.

I must add that after stopping at the services and topping up the water and making sure that no other bolts were loose or missing that the knocking had stopped.... Even tho i had poodled the rest of the journey home at 55-60mph.

It was a nerve racking final journey, hoping the one bolt that was holding the water pump pulley in, stayed in!

I have posted a few on photobucket, but, despite reading the guide at least ten times, I am still none the wiser as to how to upload them onto this site.

In photobucket, selected the picture you want to display by selecting them, then click the link that says 'generate HTML codes' or something similar to that, then in the box that says 'IMG codes for BB's or Bulletin Boards' Copy all the codes using CTRL+ C or i think it does it automatically then paste them (CTRL + V) into the thread on here.

Simples. 

There is a box called HTML link, but when I click on it, it just says 'copied', and no sign of the above quoted link anywhere.

now just start a post here...

and right click and select paste (or press ctrl and v) .... job done

No, thats it!

When it says 'copied' it has automatically copied them onto your pc... Goto the area on here where you want to post the pictures, start a new thread or post topic and instead of typing in the type area, click in it so the cursor is there then right click your mouse and select 'Paste' OR press the CTRL key then then the 'V' key together.

And it will paste the links into the post area, click thread preview and view your hardwork lol

if thats to the locite usage, could be your problem, im sure your meant to loctite em  :-/

It was yes, i will be tomorrow after a visit to Vx's for new bolts and possibly another water pump

Nice to see that the wipers on the FFR's are never straight when in the rest position,AGAI them Guffer !
