Bluetooth headsets
« on: 25 May 2007, 19:39:28 »

Just bought a bluetooth ear thingy. The old phone that sat in the cradle was about knackered and I fancied a 3G one. I bought a nokia HS-26W headset to go with my nokia 6288 and I think it's sh1te. It waggles around on my ear, the volume is too low and it interferes with listening to my music properly.

It's in the coin tray and it's rather staying there. >:(

Personally I would get a proper bluetooth kit like one of the Parrot kits.

Very easy to install, work with pretty much all bluetooth enabled phones and route through your headunit.
Sound quality is excellent.

Once I have a car I will be keeping for a while I will invest in one (around £80-£90).

Ive a Nokia headset....think it maybe a hs-26....not too sure...carnt read the really tiny print on it this time of night  :(

If it is the same one.....the loop that goes around your ear bends to fit.....so try that.
Also i guess if the same one you've noticed the volume buttons on it?  :-/

I find mine fine.....except why does it flash a blue led to show that its turned on??? You carnt see it if you wearing it  ;D

Having tried a few Bluetooths and not liked them, I now stick to old-fashioned wired earphone when driving - the phone is in the cradle and the wire clipped to my shirt. there's nothing more reliable than a piece of wire that goes from A to B (and that's also what I tell my customers when they want to replace the Cat5 with WiFi...)
