Farewell Dear Friends
« on: 09 May 2011, 18:26:47 »

And now, the end is near.....

After seven years of faithful service, the Omega is finally about to meet its maker.

About two weeks ago, one of my neighbours very obligingly reversed her Kia into the rear quarter leaving quite a deep dent and cracking the rear bumper.

I have, today, received the insurance payout offer for the total loss and at £1,000 I'm delighted.

To make matters even better, I took delivery of my 58 plate Skoda Superb Elegance 170 Tdi on Friday, so I didn't even need the curteousy car they offered me.

Thanks to those friends I have made on OOF, we had some very good times and I'm glad to have been involved in the first Newent meet and to have met several of you there.

Good luck to all of you.

Martin

I went into the local garage and asked for a petrol cap for a skoda, he said it sounded like a decent swap offer...
