I've had the log fire on since last night it's been hovering around 12c but with continuous verticle heavy rain and we're above the cloud line too .

  I`m not coping at all well; the temps. have soared to a blistering 17 C. here today and the NHS Helpline flatly refused to do anything about it! ..........how long is this 'heatwave' going to plague us! :-/

Well, I guess I'd better enjoy the weather while it's here. They are forecasting some pretty violent thunderstorms down here tomorrow evening as the meteorological conditions will be just right for them. Met Office has already warned of possible flash flooding.

Hot in spain the last week here in Gibraltar today is 31 in the shade

  Then what the heck are the BBC weather dept. playing at?......

No 'warning' of impending-drownings or cautioning the unwary against the imminent-danger of death by hail-stoning or electrocution from lightning!
Have they no sense of public responsibility?!?!?
