does anyone use one for automotive fault testing.

im assuming most are pc based.

if so what spec and where from?

I think the current count is 7. :-[

Spec is really not that important for automotive use as the signals are really slow. In fact, a PC based / handheld digital 'scope is probably a better bet than a traditional analogue CRO as digital storage allows you to capture cranking current / volts and crank sensor output, etc.

I have a 1950 something scope with the round screen. Should really be ina museum, but if anyone want it they can have it.
