Courier for bumpers
« on: 31 August 2011, 17:42:39 »

Any ideas what courier companies will take an Omega bumper. Tried a few and they restrict the length to either 1500mm or 1600mm and Omega`s are just over the 1700mm mark :question

not sure i'd trust a courier with a bumper, easily cracked and you going to need a lot of packaging to make sure its ok.

I did use these people once I think, I did put your measurements in, it accepted them, but at scary delivery price  :o

Personally I would wrap it up and send it with your normal courier and not mention its slightly bigger Rob. I can't imagine them measuring every item they post .... It has worked for me  ;)

Got an account with them. Gave then a ring, car bumpers are on their "prohibited" list :-?

Attach the bumper to a car and then drive the car to where you want the bumper to be and then take it off and drive the car back without a bumper.

Hope this helps.
