At Last a bit of good luck
« on: 17 September 2011, 21:28:49 »

Had a pants few months due to relationship issues, skint, Sad family news, Depressed, overworked ect ect but finally i had a day where everything went my way.

On the way to work i stopped off for a bacon sandwich and cup of tea. Had a cracking 10 minute conversation with a fellow vauxhall enthusiast  who very kindly paid for my breakfast!

When i got to work (Volvo/Renault main Dealer) i asked the Techicians to re-gas my Air Con. No worries they said. After 30 minutes i went to pay and the Workshop controller didnt want a bean off me for doing it! Normally £50 retail price. Wouldnt even except a Tenner! Whilst at work also i find my Area Manager there to give me the good news that my request for a pay rise has been approved and ill get another £25 per week! Gave the Mig a Valet also so it was looking great. Finished work at 1 and had a great afternoon with my 9 month old daughter. These little things today just made me feel like so much better than as of late. Funny Really how little things like that can fill big gaps ;)

Really pleased to read your thread Dan! It's all to easy for us all to focus on the bad stuff sometimes, and it's nice to read about someone really appreciating the little things!

Good on ya!!!  :y

Even better!! Looking forward to see it on the car mate!  :y

The Elite it came off is looking very sorry for itself, sitting on my driveway with nothing but 2 black lines of black adhesive left across it's bootlid!  :'(
