The 2.5 cambelt is easier, and takes much less time than the 3.0 one, because you don't have to take all the inlet out, etc.

Don't you fancy having a go yourself?

Find a central venue, organise it, and they will come

Due to global warming, our summers are, errr, cold. And wet. So somewhere indoors, and central was the hope.  The last one done on driveways (at my place and at Tunnies simulataneously) was too chaotic to be honest

You can get 3 cars side by side on my drive. But I'd love to see the neighbours faces with 50 cars waiting in the road for their turn!  ;D  ;D  ;D

Just thought ..... Knob Head next door has just moved out. There'd be room for 2 cars on his drive!  ;D  ;D   :y  :y

Could it be possible to do a cam belt party at the next ashridge meet September 19th ? I have my all weather gazebo with 4 zip up sides could easily get a car front underneath :y
But I don't have the confidence to change some one elses cambelt  :-/ :-/ :y

Not ideal, and several cars need to be done simultaneously to get through them all  :-/

Yes, Looknee is definately the one to contact. I recommend you get in touch with him if you can, he provides an excellent mobile mechanics service.

as mentioned the last one was held at TheBoys and mine at the same time, it was not good having 2 locations (even though they were just 1/2 mile apart)

My driveway holds 4 cars with another 2 in the garage.

We need another industrial unit, or a field  ::)
