I sometimes use my footrest when on the motorway - and my size 14 foot just about fits on there - but as an ex-kart driver I got into the habit of left foot braking and when in town I still drive with my left foot hovering over the brake pedal  :y

Well as of today I can confirm that the Mercedes 'E' class has a foot rest no bigger than the Omega's, but it does have the small foot brake pedal alongside! :D :D ;)
