Your being done. thats not a TC price!

And you can get a good pattern water pump for much less.

I have already commented on this, dealers seem to be quoting retail less 10% (ish) rather than the proper TC price.  I know they must be struggling but to screw a base of loyal custom is not the way promote a good business...

Local stealer, second call, TC price was £96 + vat much better than the previous call.

Water pump now, £37.50 TC which was the price i was expecting. Same dealer, second guy i spoke to was the more friendly of the two, least he quoted right price!

On order from eGay, but i am not that hopeful when the e-mail said it 'should' be dispatched in a few days.

If it fails to turn up, might bike over to MK and get one from the motor factors there.

No, you'll have to do the job the correct, old fashioned way:

1) Ask mum for phone book
2) Locate the strange device on a table in the corner of the room, attached to the wall by a wire. If it lights up, its the wrong device.
3) Press the buttons on the device as determined by the phone book.
4) When a biff talks to you, ask for car parts dept
5) When slightly older bloke talks to you, ask him

Its quite a simple procodure, damn sight quicker than pissing about with tinterweb.  Old fashioned communications has not yet been banned. "It's good to talk"
