They aren't HID (if that's what you mean) on my CD. I think only elite has HID. That said, AFAIK these bulbs use Xenon gas instead of Halogen which makes them brighter but not the same as HID.

As JimBob said, CDX MV6 and Elite had HIDs. The problem with NightBreaker bulbs is they last 50%  less as far as I can remember
