my tractor gets 33 on m-ways and 21 round town.
i found whilst canning it up the back roads (a corner about every 200yrds) i held it in second revs about 3000-4000 it gets a better mpg round the twisty roads than when i its in drive.
peaks around 20mpg in second and it peaks 13mpg in drive.
great fun though :y

Why do I seem to get the same mpg as v6's :(

because 1600-1700 kg is enough heavy to be the primary common factor..
