RAC and Nilfisk Pressure washers
« on: 06 March 2010, 08:09:39 »

I bought one of those RAC pressure washers from Argos for £99 on Monday, and returned it after one use. Apparently it's made in China and there are NO attachments to lengthen the hose or add different lances, etc.

I went to quickfit and bought a Nilfisk C120 instead; excellent piece of kit. Everything feels solid and 'clicks' together, the RAC had scew attachments for everything. :(

So, to conclude my review, If you're in the market for a pressure washer, the Nilfisk C120 is great and costs £89 from Quickfit :D

Next month I'm purchasing a snow foam lance, can't wait ;)

I bought one a couple of years ago from Machine Mart on one of their VAT free days.

Price has gone up since I bought mine, excellent piece of kit.

I also ordered an extension hose on-line for £49

This gives me 13 meters of hose, enough to walk around the car without dragging electrical cords through puddles of soapy water and risking eletricution! :D

Bought a K'archer last summer with a patio attachment, purely because my patio was in a state. £100.  Works fine, and bits easy to get.

Bought our Karcher from a refurb company on Ebay.

Its a little one KA25 (or something like that) but only paid £20 for it including lance etc and its never let me down in 2 years

Bloody strong little thing it is too.......blasted the driveway clean in no time.....!!
