Thats the one I just picked up. Didn't want to say earlier in case all you 'orrible lot cleaned them out.
Quality? Dunno yet, not as well built as the Clarke by thye looks of the box piccy, but who cares. Lift engine is all I want.
BLOODY heavy. Two boxes make up the 90kg of it. And, no I didn't try to lift it - not this week, I am suffering a bit.

Anyway, crane bought and I will do it as and when I get a chance. Steering knoicks lightly like a ball joint, so needs attention sooner rather than later. I will just not book tyhe car out from Sunday until I know it is done.
Subframe needs careful alignment afterwards, so I will be going back to proper engineering for this. It will be engineers blued, then scribed for reasonable accuracy. What a crap design this is though. Electric motor for the steering solumn, then a rack that is wedged between the subframe and the bulkhead.
Give me a Triumph herald with a 2ft steering wheel any day. |Even if you needed to change the rack on that, you just climb in the engine bay. There is LOTs of room in them.
