What are the odds......

Yes yes, I know this is Corsa stuff again, but like I said before it is parked near my omegas.

Changed both track rod ends and the drives side tie rod today. Obviously tracking is a zillion miles out no matter how you count threads etc, especially as I had two different makes of track rod end which are slightly different castings.

So, set the steering straight, stood 20yds in front of the car and decided the right wheel wanted to go out a bit. Then the left wanted to come in a bit. Looks near. Drove it and it was putting the steering wheel a 1/2" to the left, so tweaked both sides a bit more and then it seemed straight enough.

Then, getting it set so that I don't knacker my Pirrelli 6000's. Kwik fit and Formula 1 were bthe only two places that could do it today, so that'll have to do then. First stop Formula 1. On the ramp, on with the wheel clamps and.... spot on! Naaaaah, get out of here!!!!!!

Didn't believe them, didn't pay anything either. So, off to kwik fit. On their ramp and same. Spot on.

What are the chances of guessing it all that well??????

Bet I couldn't do that again in a month of Thursdays (better than Sundays all the time)

I reckon if you've a good eye for detail and have the know how to adjust it then it's quite probable that you'd be able to get it fairly close, but spot on's a bit jammy!!

Camber! Now there's another kettle of fish!!
