access to the left hand coil pack and plugs is none too easy on a 3.2. :(
neither of the ex plod 3.2s that i've owned have had egr valves :) makes them a bit less complicated i guess. :-/

What are the differances between 3.0 and 3.2 manifolds ?

Easiest way to describe the difference is 2.5/3.0 manifolds are heavy cast steel which are quiet restrictive, where as the 2.6/3.2 are a far lighter tubular looking manifold.
Hope that helps.

But taking the ignition system as a whole, i prefer 3.2 as it's one component plus plugs. 2.5/3.0 the dis PAC is a right be-atch  to swap out in comparison, and one less thing to diagnose. I would far prefer to swap out 3.2 dis than a set of leads, but then swapping plugs is a bit more aggro.

Being honest alot of patience mate.
Just the 2.6/3.2 manifolds plus the gaskets make sure you get 2.6/3.2 gaskets else you will be stripping everything you have done. You will need to cut some off the lip of the cat that goes into the manifold .
Hope that helps you :)

Hopefully, the engine that is being worked on will be out of the car anyway, and possibly getting the cams changed... so sure i could work something out ;D

i neglected to change an exhaust gasket on a previous v6 purely because i couldnt be bothered getting into it lol

If the engine is out of the car then mate you are laughin :y
All you need is
2.6/3.2 Manifolds
2.6/3.2 Manifold to Head Gaskets
A few Bolts and Nuts incase
2 O ring Gaskets where the CAT joins the Manifold (this is where you will need to grind/cut some off the lip on the CAT)

 ;)
