206 wishbones ?

Pickep up a clean 206 for a song, it needs wishbones for the MOT , heard these can be a ghastly nightnmare to get off which will involve a 5 foot scaff bar and chains! anyone done these?

Happy to do Omega servicing etc around Merseyside,cruise activation, airbag lights sorted too...

best of luck Henry, I would put this on the same peg as an ATF change on the Miggy.

One bolt wont clear the driveshaft drivers side and I just cut the other one off with a grinder. Spring compressors would make it a lot easier!!

they aint that bad 2 do. i take the bottom of the strut out the hub then take the ball joint bolt out and remove the bottom arm. would change them 4 u but im showing my car this sat at castle combe :y :y :y :y

I've changed a set of 206 wishbones away from my workshop with nothing more than a socket set.  You have to fiddle about a bit to make sure you don't pull on the driveshaft too hard while the bottom ball-joint is disconnected, but other than that it's reasonably straightforward.  2hrs from car driving all over the place to car driving in a straight line.

just finished the 206 that I am doing,I removed the hub nut and swung shaft out of the way which gives access to front bolts,left hand side was easy but struggled a bit with the right hand one getting the arm low enough to re-engage ball joint pin,enjoying coffee and fag break now :y
