2nd Hand genuine cats are normally a better buy than new crap ones.

if you want to place an advert in the test zone I will move it for you.

what were your mot readings, and have you checked the car for fault codes etc before condemning the cats?

Very rare for them to fail on a 3l, but they do get a little tired sometimes.  Normally, a good Italian tune-up is enough to get mine through...

I had to get some new ones as the old ones had completely gone around the mid-section joint area and I was buggered if I was going to drill them out and bolt through...

Got some from http://www.catman.co.uk, they arrived next day and I was pleased with the fit.  Time will tell if they last.  Dont bother with their fitting kit though, the bolts are cheap and the gasket is better if you go vaux  :y
