as prefacelift and yours as DBW variety?  Or just an improved guide?

Mark suggests a wipe of oil cooler sealer on the thermostat mating surface, may be worth adding.

Just getting a load of info up - particularly the bit about removing the stat from transfer pipe.  Then work out merge...

The (instructional) sound element of the video adds to the ease of understanding just what's going on.

Is it too involved to dub voice comments of the procedure as the various steps are carried out - tips on what to look out for, how much force to use and so on - before using the finished piece?
( even though this will banish the dulcet tones of Daz's exertions ;D ;D)

I found those short clips very impressive indeed  8-) Nice one :y :y

I hear what you are saying. The reason I did the vids was to try and clarify the seperation of stat/xfer pipe, which could never be clearly described verbally. Not sure audio would help, as Daz's 'wiggle like hell' will be different to everyone else's wiggle like hell.

In most cases, audio commentry helps imho - look at the difference between v6 cambelt dvd and 4cyl one.

We have the facilities to host videos on OOF, so anyone writing a guide, and adding a vid, please contact Jimbob who will arrange for your file to be converted to a compatible flash format, and will return the url to embed :y
