Given the choice of a Tigra for peanuts or a Puma for peanuts, I'm sure the Puma could well be considered the better buy..but, as star_whites doesn't have the luxury of choosing between them, I'm with bluey, Dan_282, Marks DTM...I'd say yeah, why not?
Spares are available all over the place, as it's based on the Corsa. It's basically a Corsa GSi in a dress (not exactly a bad thing, surely?) with slightly less weight over the front axle, as I recall, thus improving handling a tadge. It's a bit of fun, with a VERY common engine(Vauxhall must have made more 1.6 ECOtecs than any other 90s engine) so servicing should be a doddle. Back arches get grotty (name a Vauxhall that doesn't) a lot have been thrashed/poorly maintained. 1.6s got ABS/discs all-round, which was still a nice novelty mid-90s. Have fun, I say! 8-)
