niggles.....

steering box
brake pedal feel, actually brakes in general

BUT more than balanced by the low cost, entertaining handling, performance and that they look like taxis. Just find another car that you can buy for a hundred quid, take to B&Q, buy 7-foot lengths of timber and get to 150 on the way home.

I suppose my Omega still annoys me due to the fact I replaced my Senator with it!
I actually saw a local Senator on the road yesterday.

honestly? Nothing! It does everything I want it to do.

Its never leaked fluids of any kind, did cam cover myself few years ago, been perfect, its smooth, comfy, handles well, bought it at 84k now on 151k, its not missed a beat, its never broken down, its cheap to run, good on tyres and now with LPG, very economical!

Mushy steering - working on this

Stupid radio
 - Volume control is u/s except for the steering wheel buttons (bit of a bonus in a way, stops anyone turning my favourite tracks down)
- Lousy reception on medium which becomes very crackly after a while, good thump on the side of the console cures it. For a while.

Glad somebody had something positive to say about the Omega. This thread is going to send a lot of would be buyers running in the other direction.  ::)

Oe pads, as opposed to trade club pads, will sort the pedal feel nicely. Steep though.
And are what's fitted the my omega in FS section as it happens....I should to fit the tc pads I have in the garage before selling and save myself a few quid on my new omega.

Never had to use my horn in the Omega yet.  But then again I've probably only ever used the horn 2/3 since I've started driving.

Interior trim could be a bit better, but there's not really much to complain about for me.

Edit:  Actually I think the centre console should have more room, especially when like me you have telematics taking up the glove box.  And being super critical, seats could be better on long journeys.

All those issues were non existent in the prefacelift  ;D ;D ;D
