....... I wouldn't have another car in replacement of it, ......
You've not had a 24v Senator then?

Always wanted one at the time, never had one. However, everyone I've driven in the past 5 or 6 years has been disappointing - maybe because I had the Omega first :-/
We have already proved that a stock 3.0l 24v V6 Omega will outrun a 3.0l 24v S6 Senator (even though it was catless), is smoother, and is better balanced to take corners better. Thats before the all the refinements to the car to make it a better ride, and a nicer place to sit.
Then consider that anything electronic on the Senator breaks after a couple of years....
I can see no advantages of a Senator - I look upon the Omega as a refined version, tweaked in all the right places.
I should point out, unlike certain members of the Admin team, I am not a Vauxhall fanatic, I generally think their cars are poorly made and designed by
idiots accountants, esp lately. I'm probably not even particularly fond of the Omega, except it fills my current desires - comfortable (back issues

), cheap, quick, excellent handling, refined - though the fact I've had one for 7yrs shows I'm struggling to find a replacement car...
