Washing a car, is like making love to a beautiful woman.  caress the bodywork. Breathe softly and gently. And give every inch of it your loving attention. And make sure you've got a nice wet sponge.

Despite all our hopes and wishes the news is not good.  :(

Not bad, but not good.

It's failed on both rear springs snapped and steering idler wear, which is odd as I wasn't aware of any handling issues.

As much as I would have liked to sort it myself, I don't have the time and , more to the point, I don't have the facilities.

So it is still in the garage, they have the springs, but the idler won't arrive until tomorrow.

I must say the garage I use is pretty good, very reasonable price-wise. Needless to say it is NOT a Vauxhall stealer! I'll update further tomorrow when I know more.

Ho hum.....

Disappointing news DJ but at least the defective parts will soon be changed and you'll have a fresh MOT. 8-) :y :y
