Just remember that the gearbox-ABS(TC)-Engine ECU are a little more sophisticated on the 2.6/3.2 with CAN bus between them.

So having seen the TC throw a fault message out, the autobox might take offence!
Last time I opened the bonnet (earlier in the day as it happens), it looked like a 3.0l to me ;D ;D

I suspect it was still some convo going on between engine/box/abs, though never happened before  :-/, not that I've tried  [smiley=engel017.gif]  ::)

S'pose I really should plug the Tech2 in to see whats stored...  ...but it looks chilly out ;D

Nah, thats sat on the driveway, under a heap of snow and ice.  It doesn't get used much, done about 1k since July in it...

I think it needs a new battery - 2 weeks of no use, it normally doesn't like starting.  Not tried since the cold snap, I suspect it won't even turn over ;D

i am pleased some else managed to confuse the abs/tc, as i did this the other day with my 99 2.5 auto.  rear wheels spinnin at bout 75mph front wheels doin less than 5mph. i tryin my hardest not to get stuck on a hill and rear offside wheel was against a kerb all the way lol

As said above once i turned ignition off and back on all was fine, altho i didn't notice if gearbox was in limp mode.  i have had the gearbox fault where i had to remove selector and clean (milkshake inside)
