Still trying to work this one out,
camber tracking etc etc were all spot on when we left uk its since been back a few times and also checked then but all the time i have had a slight but annoying pull to the right, never could get to the bottom of it,
However today I was just pottering on the motor checking it for faults and worn things etc etc, and just happened to notice the drivers side looked lower than the passenger side (tyre to arch lip gap) so out come the tape measure and sure enough it was an inch lower than the passenger side, so as i had spare struts and springs in the shed i changed them, low and behold the car now sits level and is indeed an inch higher than before on the drivers side, its exactly the same as the passenger side now,
on test driving it after fitting it all I was amazed the pull to the right has gone!!
it now tracks dead straight and true, can only think the weaker spring on the original strut was affecting the camber or caster on the drivers side? should add took loads of measurements to ensure i got the settings exactly the same as they were before i changed it, its certainly a nice result for me but interested in anyones comments on the shall we say worn spring? or maybe its a trait of older cars that the long term effects of just a driver in the car does wear the spring down?
