Some of the problems were caused by 3.0 cams :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[
Then drive within the limitations of your tyres ,and not your camshafts :y
Stick some Kumhos on. you know it makes sense :y

Yep, agree about the Kumho's. KU31's seem to have the balance between performance and price correct.

Dont forget the Bricks.

Don't need bricks, just pinch some wheels off a few other cars around...

Totally agree on premium tyres, bought my car in the summer and changed the whole set as soon as the temperatures dropped even though there was plenty of tread.

I'd have personally changed before the MOT though, I change between 2-3mm usually.

Agreed - just stuck some on my Calibra.  Not sure how long they'll last but they certainly did well in the snow before xmas and I have no issue with grip (unlike the Michelin Pilots it had on beforehand....)

If it's stuck, force it.  If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway........
