well the omega is finally going on the road in the next two weeks due to fuel over here hitting €1.40l my mazda needs 12l per 100k and i reckon the 2.2 should be around 9-10 per 100 for the driving i do (short motorway bursts to work and back) so in a way i am stepping down on fuel getting the omega on the road (o.k it's only a 4 pot!) but my intentions were to wait till i had all the suspension in but i'm thinking summer is still a fair way off and i could well have saved €100 on gas by then! i just think the bottom dropped out of the market for my fuel thirsty mazda though :'(

I've been thinking about a G-Wizz with a generator in a small trailer to charge the battery as you go..... :D

this'll be my second choice:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-CYCLAMATIC-POWER-PLUS-EBIKE-ELECTRIC-MOUNTAIN-BIKE-/290516374597?pt=UK_Bikes_GL&hash=item43a4201445

1st choice is the non-electric one I already have.

and it'll go in the back of the omega, so I can drive half
way...

apart from that, I'm VAT registered so I can claim 20% of the price back any way.
I'll only be paying 1.60 a litre when it's at 2.00 at the pumps.
