Tunnie, given that they are nylock nuts, not sure I would have bothered with antishake washer, allowing the nylock to grip more...

Blame Lazytinker, I was just a useless student doing what he was told :P

Would you believe it, I can't find a rather ruler anywhere ;D

Found the bolts Teilo supplier, look to be around 8cm as a guess, so he's provided the same as last time.

Tunnie's certainly look longer, and without antishake washers, look to be long enough.

I might try to pick up some threaded rod as a backup, but its half day closing around these parts on a Wednesday...

I'm still not convinced that vaporisor is ideal for a 3.0 V6  :-/

I thought Tielo was going to be providing something more substantial, like this:

I would only get up at 12 on Saturdays, so that was part of the problem  ::)  ;D

Its probably around the same size as my existing one in the MV6, and thats trouble free - certainly not seen the lag issues that Lazytinker and chrisgixer see, just a horrid gearchange at 6750rpm (very horrid at 3rd to 4th).

chrisgixers lag is a different kettle of fish to lazytinkers, and due, I reckon, to the later engine ECUs - the lag is there, to a lesser extent, on petrol.

Problem is, even if you get up on time, it gives you just long enough to get into a DIY job and then realise you've lost / mullered a vital part. ::)

I've got a load of bolts... The thread on them is a bit close, hence the anti shake washers to pad it out a smidge ;)

Vaporiser... Not sure which one you got in the end. Does it say? Whichever way, we're testing it on yours ;) If it has the lag he will replace it if required :y It is a faster reacting vaporiser and tested (not just rated) to 312bhp IIRCC

As per PM, I'm available pretty much any time and willing to come and take the piss watch help do whatever I can... Not a lot TBH

Lag is indeed there on petrol on my current car, mostly evident on lift off from wot.

Also drove that BRC LPG 3.2 last week that I mentioned elsewhere, it has very slight lag on wot gear changes, but very slight and very gentle. The BRC has a feature that introduces injectors one at a time so any jolts or power increases when switching over are ironed out, seems to work in that it gets round the problem rather than solving it. Certainly not a jolt as experienced previously.

I'd be happy with lag at that level.

Vap is BRC's own branded and there some other little black boxes around the engine bay, plus extra vac references to the plenum. Injectors lead to what appears to be straws in the top of the plenum.  :-?

BRC also have timing processors, which I may well be fitting to mine soon to see if it resolves the problem/improves economy
