Irmscher stuff is highly sort after, but that's a right mess, the exhausts are hanging way too low.

On the saloon there is room to have the link pipe altered to accept tow bar. Not sure about estate. :-/

Ooohh... Interesting ::) ::)
And no matter what it will involve cutting the bumper. Swan neck type is semi removable and guess will involve the least butchery. Not sure re proper vx detachable.

Sqirelling irmscher stuff are we?  ::)  :-X.   Oh oh, actually yes, irmscher stuff is gaudy chavy ugly gay rubbish over priced and you really don't want it. ESP for an Estate.

Saloon irmscher stuff however is the complete opposite of all the that obviously. As I have all I need thanks.  :y;D

TBH, I wasn't that worried about it and not sure I like it :-/ :-/

I do like the twin exit exhaust but as I'll be having a fixed tow bar for the LPG filler it kind of rules it out ;) ;)

Oh... And there'd have to be a load of heat shielding put in to pass the LPG inspection anyway ;)

There's always a way. Must admit I couldn't be arsed. Bumper off, bumper on, fiddle with this and that, then the reversing sensors play up just as it looks finished, bumper off, bumper on.....etc etc.  >:(

It doesn't work for me. Technically or from a sense point of view. We had several transactions go wrong for minor items. Re cars viewing is just daft surely.? Buy then view? I don't think so. View, in the flesh, then buy.....?

That would be the most sensible.... :y  I would never do it again but I have bought 2 cars blind, and worked out and sold 1 blind........
I am currently looking around at the moment on ebay and auto trader, but would not buy blind again after this thread....... :) :)

I've got to be honest, I've bought 3/4 cars "Blind" on eBay now... I only bid up to what I'm willing to pay, having factored in having to do some remedial work ;) ;)

My saloon came through eBay (blind) and the Estate did, to a certain extent, too :y Although the estate was also on Auto Trader and I did view it before striking the deal :y

Still found things I missed though >:( ::)

Currently searching for a Land Rover but given OOF would likely ask a member to check it our for me...... :y :y

I would point to the Galant auction as a prime case in point. They should ban re listing... Or something!

So in less than a week they have had all the damage fixed ;D ;D shame they could not find time to put some air in the rear tyres and vac out the inside before relisting for the 4th time, and have had the engine fixed and got a 100% legal MoT done ;D ;D :o ;)

As its in Reading, I think Mr. Gixer should go and have a look.
Play the dumb innocent buyer at first, and then ask many very awkward questions. Just for a laugh, eh Chris ? ;) ;D
