« on: 13 June 2011, 18:51:56 »

Well swmbo has been complaining about the a/con on her car not working,No pobs i thought regass mmmm  so having a look around kwikfit seemed the best deal no fix no fee !!!, Anyway of she goes with her mum down to kwikfit it will take about an hour they tell her,so down to the shops she goes ouch c/card goes and duly returns one hour later, sorry madam she is told its not the gas it must be something else so we won't charge for this. BUT !!!!!  your tyres need changing and the shocker is leaking.Much to her dismay she calls me as it only had its mot 10 days ago. well after talking to the branch manager it appears the car is on winter tyres and must not be used in the summer, If this isn't a case of trying to rip off women what is ??????
I have just sent an email to there head office i wonder what the reply will be,having also attached a copy of the quote for new tyres and shocker 1pr

R soles the lot of 'em, one of the attractions of omegas and oof is you can avoid them either by DIY or using and expert who really knows the cars and takes pride in their work.

I actually think it's a fair idea, just so long as it does improve the standard of service on the ground and backsides get booted where required. KF really have some ground to regain as far as honesty of workforce and fleecing of customers is concerned, in common with all the larger chains of car repair outfits. In my opinion, that is.....

i worked for charlie browns (now kf) for 6 years and you have targets to reach ie 4 shockers , 2 brake jobs , 80% trackings  a day  etc etc . when the crap hits the fan the bosses side with the customers while at the same time tell the staff don't worry keep on having there pant down sell sell sell ,  NEVER trust a fast fit centre EVER   :y

Yeah, I think it's a good idea too. Best for everyone. It's no good just hearing one side of the story. KF need their say too.
