Ive got an ex plod with the LSD and various other Mods, compared to my previous MV6 manual the accelaration is blistering - It surprises a variety of much more exotic machinery

I still get the odd Corsa/Saxo trying it but tend not to bother with them - dont want to embarrase them infront of their girlfriends ;D ;D ;D :y
I did once upset a body kitted up Punto off the lights on the way home from an OOFMEET in the Beastie (3.0 manual MV6) No surprise you might say, an easy fight but i had the caravan on the back & still creamed him!!!! 8-) ;D

I've done the same with an 8m long glider trailer on the back. Lots of time for  reflection as you sit there watching that lot going past. ;D

I would have to say, it had to be a crap driver. T5's are stupidly quick.

Not stupidly quick, especially not on bends either, lots of body roll, crash and bang, not confidence inspiring at all.

Even with the suspension on my walllowy Elite, I find it is very forgiving and absorbing. I can accelerate foot flat flat to the floor around most bends, and exiting roundabouts, and still maintain control, not like a T5.

T5s aren't that quick above 80-90 either. I think my Elite is faster. :y

They're not good in corners totally agree, but I honestly think a T5 would easily out accelerate an Omega at any speed, and Miggys are very fast  :y

e36 328i its faster then omega 3.2 manual
not much but faster
328 - 1250kgs , 192ph and 280nm
0mega 3.2 - 1700kgs, 218ps and 290nm

It is indeed the weight thing|!

Remember the Carlton GSi 24v - that was only about 1300kg and had 204ps and would do about 6.3 seconds - what power does a 1700kg mig need to get down to that sort of figure. (granted the carlton was 5spd manual).
