Spent the day 1 of 2 with Serek, blue Elite MOT'd and passed, full service, front discs changed, also 2 refurbed headlights fitted(refurbs courtesy of Nick W :y) back at 8.30 tomorrow with the red MV6 for an MOT and full service, also the n/s headlight needs changing as it's got a broken adjuster. The good thing is that Serek has the use of the MOT guys beam setter so the headlights are adjusted correctly, sort of takes the hit and miss element  out of the job. Many thanks Serek :y

Spent day 2 of 2 at Serek's place, red MV6 fully serviced, MOT'd and passed, two refurbed headlights fitted and do they make a difference? donut bushes will need replacing soon and the oil filter will need converting to a spin off as the original fixing is weeping a bit. Also EML came on as I headed round the M25 ::) and after a quick plug in, it turned out to be the MAF.....couldn't get  a new one in a hurry so I'll order up a Bosch one and do it next week....weather permitting :-\ Once again I would like to thank Serek and his staff for doing a cracking job with the attention to detail that is second to none :y And really looking forward to the Spiceland blowout in March :) ;)

Played 'hunt the rumble' on the 4x4 truck.  :-\  Got a diff, wheel bearing type of grumble at around 30mph but not audible above or below that speed.  :-\  Feels more of a transmission vibration than a body vibration and goes in tune with wheel rotation/drive-shaft rotation.
Changed both front wheel bearings on it, replaced the UJ's on the front propshaft, checked front and rear diff and transfer box oil levels but still can't pin down where it's coming from.

Time to fit Go-Pro cameras underneath me thinks.  :)

Start a new thread, its a reasonable list.

And yes, it appears I did leave something dangling from the mirror  :-[

Took 4 utterly shagged tyres off TBE, and put 4 legal ones on  :-[

To say I'd had my money's worth is an understatement - I'd bought the wheels from a well known member here, and they just happened to have "usable" tyres on. That was about 2 years ago  :-[.  Mrs TB liked those wheels/tyres as it made the car run dead straight (don't tell Gixer ;D), and the poor grip was not important to her.

Looking at the wear pattern, its time for another trip to WIM...

Found the Battlebus and "prepped" it for its MOT. ie, put some oil and air in it. Its going to need some go-go juice beforehand, maybe some electricity as well.

Put the spare on the front of the new un on the hard shoulder of the M42  ::)

Then put two wheels with brand newish SportMaxx RT tyres on the front end (These previously spent less than a week on the front of the 2.6)

Fitted 2 new night breaker bulbs in the 2.2 and fiddled with leaky coolant pipe, hoping fixed it.

Might have to drain and refill coolant as last effort to fix odd temp behaviour, before doing a run to Brackley
