Got another 12 months on the Battlebus.
Discovered that exhaust will need some love soon.
Congratulations on the MOT pass

few weeks ago I had to replace the exhaust on the Zafira A tractor
the flange where the donut on mid section meets the back box had rotted away, the rest of the mid looked good
I had new old stock, genuine GM mid and back box in stock (£25 when Vaux where clearing their stock

)
so ,usual story, p155ing down with rain ,lying under a car

about 10 tight rubber hangers to remove ,didn't have my grinder to cut the mid section from the cat (17 years of being joined together

) got it all off in the end

new mid section did not have a clamp like the original

(so that was a trip to Hal
frauds )
smeared exhaust paste on the rear flange, fitted the donut offered the back box up , wrong

think it's an astra G estate back box

years have past since I got the exhaust sections and £25 was still a bargain for the mid box alone .
so i fitted the original back box
the outer shell had pretty much rotted away but the inner shell was still pretty good and no leaks ,so f*** it

In hindsight ,I should have cut the flange out and replaced it with a flexi or repair sleeve with clamps

Hope your repair goes better
