Permanently disabled the stop/start BS. Can't believe it's taken me 3 1/2 years to get round to this.
Took me about a week after replacing the battery, which caused that stupid system to start working again.  Poxy stupid shite to appease the stupid and misinformed.

Its actually benficial to auto boxes as it reduces the oil sheer and heating which occurs when stationary, clearly not an issue with your driver involvement pack.

But other than that, its not a great system that is mandated by the powers that be
Are you trying to suggest having my left foot hard on the brake, and my right foot just approaching the stall point on the accelerator is not good for slushboxes :o.

No wonder my beloved silver bullet kept letting all the ATF out, and at nearly 250k, the autobox stated finding a lot of neutrals when ragged hard for any length of time  ;D

Engine service on sons MK7 Civic. Quite nice to work on and seems like well put together with a feel of quality about it.

Leather all cleaned & treated in the Range Rover, 16 years old this year & still looking like new, my farmer mate has a 2018 Range Rover but the leather has not aged well.

Finished the welding on this utter shed of a Ford yank import nail.

All the cills done, prop UJ bearings replaced, new exhaust hangers welded on, rear brakes stripped and handbrake shoes adjusted (which is a pretty crap setup with no cable adjusment available to get it spot on)

He mentioned elsewhere that it's an Explorer. A car whose main only purpose is to provide budget live axles to 350hp projects ;D

S'pose I should consider doing something with the leather on mine, but TBH, that aint gonna happen. Ever.  I'm more likely to wash the thing.

I said I'd turn up to an XJ meet in a couple of weeks.  I bet they are all busy polishing theirs.  Mine won't even see a sponge before I go ;D

Fitted a new exhaust damper on hers.  She's had the damper for a couple of weeks, and its only a single bolt, and as the exhaust is making a racket, I thought I'd better get off my ass for 5 minutes ;D
