Put half a litre of oil in the diff.I soon need to replace either the pinion seal or the diff itself.I have a spare diff from a 3.0,but its a different ratio,so not sure what to do at the moment. :-\

Supervised TG bailing out the coil packs and made a mental note to buy some new rubbers for the 135 bank.

Finished the engine transplant and conversion from auto to manual.

Went to town on the engine, replaced all service items plus a few more.  Ditched EGR, SAI & air-con.

Took it for MOT, failed on cracked windscreen, all good otherwise.  Appointment with AutoGlass on Wed so will be fully road legal after that.

It's so good to be driving a manual again, loving hearing the engine properly instead of the horrible drone you get with the auto.

Daughter has Samsung Galaxy SII mobile phone which has never paired properly to Parrot CK3100 car phone - address book not transferring. So after putting latest Parrot Software (v5 ) on 3100 and a couple of pairing options explored, got it to work using the AT with Synchronisation option.

Now perfect with voice recognition as well.

Maybe of use to someone out there.

Washed 3.2, 2.2 LPG & Elite Estate.

Fitted new front pads & discs to 2.2 LPG, sorted a slightly loose LPG pipe, check and topped up various fluids. Pollen filter check and inspect rear brakes to discover missing clip on rear pads.

got the elite running finally, still not 100% right and dont like lpg anymore, misfires like a good one on it, so it can run petrol and blow up for all i care, the mv6 took over the repair area and now is stripped ready for lpg fitment and new cambelt, also on to do list is find water leak, nope its not the hbv, think it more the thermostat housing or oil cooler plate as was wet in v when lid removed, the rocker gaskets on list too as noticed the nice houshold silicolne sealant thats been used on them
