I've got an Autogrip with good tread in my garden, Cripple, if you want it.

Truely an awful tyre in the damp. Even by Lazydocker's Miss Daisy style.

That tyre can stay there :o :o As you know, I have binned new tyres in the past and these would certainly fit into that category ::)

Unfortunately I'm not convinced I'll have time to get in and swap them over tomorrow, particularly if the weather is bad, so I had to do it today ready for the new boots tomorrow ::)

I'll be able to give a genuine comparison of Enduro's against Accellera Alpha's though as these are 16's and I've had a couple of sets of Alpha's in that size :y :y

I've always been underwhelmed with the Accelleras, so I'll watch this space with interest...   ...although I don't think I'm built for any budget tyre.

They're always going to be a budget tyre and not match up to your choice ;) ;)

We've had 2" settle on the (treated) roads since I went out at half 6 :o :o Strange thing is, I drove home from Ipswich along all the back routes (too many idiots on the main roads) and didn't hit the snow until I got about 3 miles from home :y

If you think Autogrips are crap in the wet you want to try ones that are past their best in the snow :o :o :o :o :o

On the plus side, the Enduro's on the front feel quite planted, even in the snow :y

I meant between the Runways and the Autonogrips ::) literally a back to back test ;D

I suspect you knew the result before you got home ;D

Ah... To be fair, the nogrips are past their best and only just legal but even so, I think even Tunnie could get it out of shape with them on :-X :-X :-X ::) ::) ::) :D :D :D

I knew it was a risky move putting them on but not sure if I'll be able to get to the yard tomorrow (you know what the roads are like to get in there ;))

Thats hardly any test, we all know that Autogrips are the worse tyre ever made.

Got involved yesterday with removing the glove box to replace the broken handle. Quite a strip out for doing that isn,t it. Doing dash lamps today.

Hmm. 8mm tread on the front and 2mm on the rear makes snow "interesting".  ;D

And good fun once you remember and are expecting it ::)

Still managed to get home last night in the bad weather and SWMBO into work this morning, including going the back way (un-treated) to avoid the muppets who have to do 5mph because there's slush on the white line >:( >:(
