Received a rollicking after she filled it today. Her economy is 19.9mpg, and apparently its all my fault as I did 70 miles in it Friday.

Personally, I think 19.9mpg is very respectable.

went and saw a guy about the bottom balljoint for rover-wow-he had 1936 wolseley 16hp and a 18hp too -plus 3 p6 rovers /4 morris minors and 2 land rovers oh forgot 2 studebakers-should have taken camera :-[ But he gave me complete leg assembly for rover-fitted it little while ago :y and he charged me nothing :o said it was a pleasure to keep an oldie on the road-he meant the car not me--I think?

Fitted door strap on the rear door , no more flingy open and it will please mot man  ::) Got the mechanism a car jack and few other bits for £4 from scrapy  8)

Droplinks, handbrake adjustment, reverse sensors, photochromatic mirror and swapped out the basic intermittent wiper stalk for the variable one

Average I assume, so you probably got about 15mpg out of it in the 70 miles you did in reality!

Cleaned the interior. Twas absolutely minging. Now fairly shiny, shiny, shiny 8)

Also swapped the front seats out.

As we were becoming drowsy inside the car , thought id check the exhaust manifold ... all the bolts were loose  :o :o :o All tightened up now and no more exhaust fumes in the car  :)
