Leave a car at a MOT station unsupervised  :o, Never done that, God knows what they do with them. Only takes 30 minuets usually.

It's the bike and we are in the country, they often want it all day.(it's full garage not just MOT) Always done same with car too, just leave it with him. He fits it in when ever, never had a problem with car. Never liked my local bike garage!

Ah  :-[ :y, Never had a bike, I presume MOT on them are more thorough and takes longer  :-\

Before I'd leave it at BMW dealer, for £10 they would loan you latest bike. Last year took new 1.6l GTL bike for 4 hour blast while mine was done :)

When do you need jack? I'm here tonight(Brackley), off tomorrow. 2.2 getting re-MOTd at 7am :o
Ah 'dangle berries'

Can't get back until 23rd at earliest. What needs doing?
TBE jacking up to see if the steering idler is fubar, the mount, or if the MOTer had been drinking....

I can pop around now, I've got an hour or so spare?
Ideal :y

Give me 15mins to wedge arse from bath. Bring torque wrench and a stand as well.

TBE's idler is fubar. Lemforder part fitted late last year when I couldn't get the car to go in a straight line (which was due to those SC5 tyres in the end).

The Silver Bullet needs new wishbones (known about), ABS ECU (last couple of weeks have given the usual telltale signs) and A/C compressor (now its dark, under LED torchlight, the engine compartment is covered in dye, looks like its come out of the front of the compressor  ???

As said, I have refurbed bones in the garage. If needed.

Noted. Thanks :y. With everything else going on, trying to deal with just one thing at a time. So can I get back to you? :)

Bullet off the road until I can remove aux belt at weekend, and see how loose the compressor is.  I'm concerned the clutch may have disintegrated, thus the pulley could become mobile.
