Discovered I was running on slicks....

....still, enough traction available, even in this cold, wet weather, so they'll be replaced with normal summer tyres :P

Hopefully the new ones will have some air in them ::)

Pressures are correct. I tend to run 32 at front and 30 at rear. Even so, the wear pattern on rears implies overinflation.

Following on from the Christmas Eve puddle encounter, today I have been doing mostly this...

Took forever to set, but sanded down to 800grit ready for priming. Had to strip as much as I did as the paint had cracked in chunks over a third of the length :o

Split was only 6" or so ::)

I think you'll find 800grit way too fine for primer.
Actually, it's probably a bit much to be sanding the primer with 800

So which tyres are these? The F1's or the sport maxx?

Shall I bump the oof tyre thread?

The initial shaping was done with 40 grit, so still pretty rough, but no longer fluffy...

I seem to be missing a car. I'll ask Mrs TB when I get out of the bath if she knows where it is.

It wasn't that windy last night, was it?
