I was all set to pop down to Plymouth to look at/potentially buy an LPGd VXR8, and only popped into the garage to pick up a crank sensor ::)

Was told how much, worked out the ppm and came over all sensible :-[ apologies for that too...  ;D

Plan is to change the oil every 5k, the air and fuel filters every 10k, and chuck it into Vauxhall every 20k for a once over to avoid warranty grumbles :-\

Looking at the pic, not ::)

The crank sensor was at my local dealer :y

Putting that another way, you'd have heard me leaving Cornwall if I had ;D

Is that Casa del Al, Al?

Picked up yet more paving slabs in mine again today - this time a reasonable number and the self levelling actually worked ;D Got almost all the way home (to Sainsbury on the A322 for the locals), went to pull away from the lights and the CEL went 'flash flash flash flash' .. I now appear to have a four cylinder V6 :-[

Here's hoping for some dry days ( ;D ;D) next week to get the inlet manifold off and the coil packs out to see if it's wells full of oil/water/mystery substance, or just knackered coil packs.

Fitted new rear springs, changed the air filters, changed the spark plugs. Had forgotten what a pain it was to change the plugs :(

Yesterday actually - eventually got the driver's door card to latch into the clips, and refitted everything. Nice to have it working properly again :y
Cleaned and Hammerited the rust patches on the brake lines.
Stripped the rear brakes, removed discs and handbrake shoes, parts should arrive tomorrow. :y
