Bought two new Goodyear F1 Aysemetric 2 tyres for the front today, It has transformed the way she drives now in a good way  :y
Old stock? I've been told that none are being made now, something due to getting kicked out of F1, and the replacement is a much cheaper eco tyre (so as much use as a used condom smeared in dogshit)

Date code will tell :)

I'm guessing standard Omega 17" size, so seems about right at the moment, as that tyre has come down a lot (probably true then that it is obsolete)

There seem to be an awful lot of "Goodyear F1 Asym 2s" available for something that is no longer being made !!

The goodyear site still lists them as available

http://www.goodyear.eu/uk_en/tires/passenger/eagle-f1-asymmetric-2/index.jsp?from=browse

Even asda are selling em !!

http://www.asdatyres.co.uk/225-45-17

then click on "Goodyear"

Continental play that game. Sc2 and 3 still in production. Even though we heard the 5 superseded the 3.

Sc3
http://www.blackcircles.com/tyres/brands/continental/sport-contact-3

Sc2 on the same site, although not necessarily shown in our sizes.

 ;D

The Insignia was supplied with SC3s, daft size though, 245/45/18, and pretty pricey too :-\

Will have a look at the Omegas in the morning, GY Eagle F1 Assym2 XL s in 245/40/18... :y
