There seem to be an awful lot of "Goodyear F1 Asym 2s" available for something that is no longer being made !!

The goodyear site still lists them as available

http://www.goodyear.eu/uk_en/tires/passenger/eagle-f1-asymmetric-2/index.jsp?from=browse

Even asda are selling em !!

http://www.asdatyres.co.uk/225-45-17

then click on "Goodyear"
I suspect there are only 2 or 3 true wholesalers/importers, and if one decides drop them (even temporarily), then you get the same story from loads of outlets, as they probably all use the same wholesaler.

Hence my quizzing of Mr Omegaman on dates...  ...although 6 months old is quite old for new tyres.

Deliberately sat in traffic on the motorway last night, as oppose to taking the back roads to Reading ;) as they would have been under at least 6inches  of water in places. The kerbs keep the water in as the drains are full.

Plus my lpg ecu is attached to the wheel arch liner. ::)

There appears to be something strange with that site, the 235/17 F1 is advertised twice at a different price (only 50p) with different ratings.  ??? ??? ???

Something to do with the economy ratings at the bottom I guess .. the 2 Y speed  ratings have different "economy" ratings ?? C & E ??

Probably different codes for different manufacturers. What would spAsda about tyres, the Idiots.

This sort of thing can make the difference between a beautifully handling car and a total nightmare.

There is info missing. Confirm EXACTLY what your buying before purchase.
