Oooohhh, I'd expect a bit better, assuming you're running it in a bit.

That (130bhp) one I used for France in 2012, I think I managed about mid 40s from. Much of the bulk of the miles was tedious motorway, but fun was had on more than one occassion, and I was running very late to get to the tunnel on the way out . Bearing in mind the other member of the party was in an V6 ash tree Morgan, occasionally some effort was needed to teach him a lesson

Have been keeping it below 2k so far

Only done 468 miles and mostly urban/in traffic... about 15mpg up on the Omega without really trying...

As you saw, scissor jack works. Will fit in't boot.
