Drove it ~120 miles today from here to Tunbridge Wells to collect this:

Car was faultless, even when stuck in stop go traffic on the M25 on the way back, and returned just over 30mpg.. hurrah!

Incidentally the welder came with a box of bits: http://i57.tinypic.com/2n71l6c.jpg

Includes what looks to me like two TIG torches and perhaps a spot welding attachment for an arc welder, if anyone can identify them?

Same as mine, as recommended by Mr. DTM. :y

Seems like we need a welding practice session soon. Whose neighbours are immune to flickering house lights, then? ;)

Not forgetting a possibly slight troll element to the post of course. Replied in kind, naturally. ;) ;D

Removed this...

And replaced it with theses...

Fitted new airline, now have working self leveling again, which in turn meant fixing a busted wire on the rear light sensor...

So that I can now adjust theses properly...

And while I was at it tweaked the front crash bar to make the bumper fit just so...

Just the gearbox and engine mount to replace during the week and it's overdue a service whilst it's up in the air...

Just taken it for a blast, it now changes gear and direction like it should 8)

Dr Chris should no longer dismiss the manual option as it is now crisper than a tube of Pringles ::)

Oil and Filter, checked the ATF level and greased the brake pipes on the 2.6  :)

Put the 3.2 battery on a top up charge.

Repaired one of the mounting tabs on a spare MV6 bumper that's destined for the 2.6

Cleaned all the breathers
