Put flaps on it that Mr Ralf sent me last year  :)

Bought an oil filter then found a new one in the shed + 10 litres of semi skim  ;D

Made a slight modification to the FM Modulator install.
I removed mine  :-X
So methinks the only viable way forward after that is to tap into the CD Audio on the ribbon cable.

Should give crystal clear (well as good as it's going to get) audio.... just won't be overridden by Traffic messages and Nav Instructions.
It was a quick and dirty test before I went to France (I didn't fancy French radio)
Sniff sniff.... Is that....sniff....sniff.....curry? No.... A slight head unit mod?

...well they could go together. :)

Presumably the HU is looking for an input somewhere around line level using that input method?

Replaced the OSF central locking motor.
Now all five doors lock and unlock off the remote, which should stop it annoying me.

Started work on the MV6 at last, took the old exhaust off and now have 4 bolts to drill out (no change there then), in between rain showers that is. As the estate has not been on the road for over 3 years this could take some time. Lots to do under the car but the engine runs sweet :y

I bought a 2.6 2002 face lift saloon in January and so I've done.

Full service
Wish bones
Rear 3 exhaust boxes
Cam belt pulleys and water pump
Cam gaskets
Brakes all round
Coil packs

About to do in the next month

Master cylinder
Suspension
Diff leaking from drive shaft joints but not sure on cure

Is there anything else that anyone would recommend I should do before it goes wrong as I'm doing high milage and don't want any surprises.  Already done 15k in 6 months and many more to go.

If you've done 15k in 6 months I would do another oil change, and another every 4 months if you doing that kind of miles, but that's just me. Also

1. Droplinks
2. Steering idler
3. Breathers so the cam cover joints don't go again soon
4. Fuel filter

First two only a check is needed to see if they need doing. Did you use vauxhall parts at all :-\

Was tempted by this wax but i'll let yous guess why I didn't buy it  LINK it's a Mystery ::)

Yesterday I got a new black round rubber thing that should stick to the road better than my old black round rubber thing. You lot know what I mean but I think the word filter has banned that "t" word ;D ;D ;D

Also if I mention it isn't it an instant 30 day ban from here :y

Only one??  ???  :o  I hope you spent suitable amounts of beer tokens to ensure you don't slide off into the ditch at the first corner?  ::)  ;D

Yesterday morning, spent about 45mins looking for the power sounder on the Battlebus (that's failing), without doing any research first - how hard can it be (TG style)?

Got chatting to my neighbour, ending up changing some bulbs and oil on his Captiva (basically, Antara), which was enough for my foot, so went in and laid on the sofa ;D

At least laying on the sofa was productive, I now know where the power sounder is. Stupid bloody place to fit ;D
